Of all the contrasting colours orange and blue are my favourite. I love painting my nails in bright colours and little patterns. I think it’s a nice way to complete a lot of my looks because my style is often quite basic and simple.
This whole outfit is from h&m, minus the belt which I got from a charity shop for £1.25. The jumper dress I got a couple of months ago and this outfit is the first time I’ve worn it but the weather has been getting colder lately which means this dress will become a staple piece.
I’ve been loving blue nails quite a lot, this summer. I added some detail in silver as I think the 2 colours looked good together. The colours I used are both from the brand Collection.
The lighter one is Sonic Blue and the darker one is Deep blue sea. I wasn’t impressed with them because the lid says ‘Apply 2 coats for maximum intensity.’ but I found that particularly with Sonic Blue even after 3 coats they weren’t fully opaque. At the price of £1.99 each, they’re pretty decent but I wouldn’t recommend them.
Most of my outfits include black or grey but every once in a while I like to change things up and wear bright vibrant colours, in this case bright blue and fuchsia.
I wore this outfit last week when I went to meet up with my best friend for lunch and shopping. I had a great day and we had loads to catch up on as it’s been a while since we last hung out.
I’ve wanted to try mom jeans for a while and last week I purchased this pair for £13 from Primark. This outfit is a little experimental from my usual style but I think its good to try new things.
I paired the mom jeans with a black crop top from New Look, an indigo coloured coat from h&m and a brown side bag from Next. I painted my nails blue which unintentionally matched my outfit but I have been loving blue nails lately.
This outfit was created from the fundamentals of many of the outfits I wear: a mini skirt, a thick belt and a top/sweater tucked in. This skirt is one of my favourites as its very light and I love the colours on it. As usual the outfit is very basic, simple and casual.
The weather was a little chilly so I knew I would need another layer. I tried my denim vest and my blue toggled coat. Both looked good but I decided a coat would be better to keep me warm, so that’s what I wore.
I wore this outfit at the weekend when I spent the afternoon on my local high street shopping. When I started getting ready the sun was out and it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day.
My outfit started off with these jeans, which you have probably seen a few times before, from Dorothy Perkins. I paired it with a baggy grey sweater that I tucked in because I love tucking things in.
I then added a piece of jewellery around my wrist from usc, I got it a while back and I just think its such a pretty piece. I chose to wear my little red bag because it added a nice pop of colour.
Unfortunately, as I was getting ready to leave I noticed that the weather had taken a turn for the worse. It had now become rather chilly, the grey clouds that had gathered meant rain was on its way.
So I ended up putting on my much loved blue toggled coat!
