Does hard-work always pay off?

Sometimes during the process of working hard I wonder if it’s worth it, if the outcome will be equivalent to the input. People work hard all the time but not everyone gets their desired outcome.

I’ve come to the conclusion that hard-work does pay off. The outcome may come quickly or you may have to wait a long time. What you get in return for your hard-work may be everything you wanted and more or it may be something small, so small that you dismiss it as an outcome and still feel as though you’ve gotten nothing for your hard-work.

So I guess the moral is too work hard, not just for the outcome but because the work you are doing matters or means something to you.

Enjoy your day!
